What's Your Elevator Pitch?

When someone asks you "What do you do for a living?" or "Where do you work?", what do you say?
Have you ever thought about it?
Do you leave it to chance based on how you feel at the time?
Here is the perfect marketing opportunity to sell yourself, your brand and your business with a carefully planned "elevator pitch"
Think carefully about what you will say, document it and practice it so that the same positive and proacive message is conveyed.
We have worked on this in our accounting practice. Each week we have a "war stories" meeting with the team to discuss any issues that arose during the previous week. Now, team members are selected on a ad hoc basis and asked the question "What do you do?" or "Where do you work?" What a great way to practice your elevator pitch!
