I acted as accountant for two businesses essentially selling the same products and services located approx. one block apart.
One business owner had a victim attitude, blaming the drought for his business woes. I suspect his attitude would hinder any opportunities to maximize each sale opportunity,let alone convert an enquiry into a sale.
The other was positive, maximized each opportunity and actually grew his business and profitability in very tough times.
The difference - attitude and belief!
